Reverend B. Maxwell is the Senior Pastor and founder of Miracle Deliverance International Ministries.
These are the words spoken by God of our Pastor:
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before Thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”-Jeremiah 1: 5
God says that He knows us before He formed us in our mother’s womb. God knows the very, “who we are” whether or not we may know it; the very essence, the very order of our destiny.
At the age of 12 years old, Reverend Maxwell began preaching in the Comfort Hall City Mission church in Jamaica, West Indies. At a young age Reverend Maxwell was being taught and equipped in the Word of God and wisdom by the elders, pastors, and mothers of the church. The bible tells us in Proverbs 22: 6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Growing up, Reverend Maxwell was taken to crusades, church services, conventions, prayer meetings, tent meetings, etc.; the elders of the church would always pull him to accompany them to communions, funerals, and housevisits.
Such deep-rootedness in the church, allowed Reverend Maxwell to develop zeal for God and for the work of God which includes a passion for preaching and evangelizing. His ministerial training did not stop in Jamaica, but continued even after he came to the United States of America.
After migrating to the United States, Reverend Maxwell attended church at the Church Avenue City Mission. Later he attended the Manhattan Bible Institute where he studied and completed courses in evangelism, general bible knowledge 1 & 2. After which he earned a postgraduate degree.
Reverend Maxwell was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1998 and thereafter promoted to Reverend.
With such a strong calling on Reverend Maxwell’s life to lead, he followed the leading of the Lord and launched out into full-time ministry along with his wife of 25 plus years of marriage, Pastor A. Maxwell and their children in 2004.
The name of the church, “Miracle Deliverance International Ministries”, the church logo (Matthew 16: 19), the anointing (2 Kings 9), the anointing oil (Leviticus 8: 1-12, Psalm 92: 10, Psalm 23: 5, & James 5: 14-18) and the prayer cloth (Acts 19: 11-12), are all revelations given to Reverend Maxwell by God.
By the power of God and these God-given revelations, the church has indeed become a center of MIRACLE DELIVERANCES. As we have seen the manifestation and movement of the Holy Spirit working in and through the man of God and the believers here at Miracle Deliverance International Ministries.
We have heard of and seen people healed, delivered, received breakthroughs, jobs, financial blessings and other unusual happenings of miracles, signs and wonders by the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.
